Hi, we’re the Herrons!

We purchased our first fifth wheel in July 2015 and it was love at first camp! Our 2006 Jayco Jayflight took us on eight camping trips in the two years we owned it. It took us down south to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and it took us up north to Acadia National Park, Maine.

In July 2017, we upgraded to our current fifth wheel, a 2015 Forest River Sandpiper. It has a lot of the amenities our Jayco was lacking and we’re very happy with it.

We got married on our family farm in the Hudson Valley in 2010. Chris is a full time facilities manager as well as a part time landscaper and hay farmer. He loves the outdoors, farming, and playing basketball. Jessica is a domestic engineer (aka a stay at home mom!) who loves all the holidays, crafts, taking too many pictures, and sometimes running.

— Carter —

Carter is eight years old and in third grade. His favorite colors are red and orange. He loves all the sports (plays soccer, baseball, and basketball), hiking and biking, and farming with Dad and Grandpa. Carter’s favorite parts about camping are riding his bike, hiking, and having campfires.

— Benjamin —

Benjamin is six years old and in first grade. His favorite color is blue. He loves coloring, playing soccer, riding his bike and helping Daddy. Ben’s favorite parts of camping are swimming at the beach, going to the playground, and making s’mores.

— Jackson —

Jackson is six years old and in first grade. His favorite color is green. He loves nature, coloring, helping Daddy, and Legos. Jack’s favorite parts of camping are going for hikes, playing on the beach, and making fires.

— Miley —

Miley became a part of the Happy Herrons family in January 2019. She is a two year old boxer/terrier mix who loves to go for walks, snuggle, play, and be with her people.
